Caribbean Hardwood Homes: A straightforward rectangular structure whose spatial organization is mapped on its longer linear axis to maximize openings and views to the outside. With large windows front to back along the central point of the house, light and air flows through. Interior single skin walls with drywall or half height walls or glass lit walls can be another option to further brighten up the interior. With its clearly defined room orientation, the front veranda of the Gandhi with double stairs highlights the forward focus of the house, but diverts frontal interference through the side stair design. Its structural orientation makes this unit easy to join within a larger mass organization of structures.
